Areas of Application: Wet winding - Epoxy Gel Coat (Red) in combination with Jyoti Hardener 1758 (for fast curing) or EH 411 (For slow curing) are used as a wet winding resin for salient pole armatures as an insulating adhesive during winding process. Finishing varnish - coat over exposed winding of electrical machines up to class F (155°C) for improved resistance to moisture & chemicals.
Properties of cured material: The system is characterized by good adhesion to most organic and inorganic materials. The hard cure shows good mechanical electrical properties & excellent chemical & humidity resistant.

Application Method:
- Wet Winding: Mix the resin + Hardener in required proportion. Apply the mixture with the help of nylon spatula layer by layer like buttering on the magnet wire during the winding process. After completing the winding process the armature is exposed to 80-100oC for curing.
- Finishing Varnish: Epoxy Gel Coat (Red) with Jyoti Hardener 1758 or EH 1411 can be applied by brush or spray. Thinner 1221 additions are necessary to adjust the viscosity for a particular application. Considering limited pot life addition of Thinner 221 is added first in Epoxy Gel coat (Red) & after waiting period of 10-15 minutes the required hardener is added in the mixture.
