Description: Epoxy Gel Coat (Black) is a specially formulated compound having thyrotrophic consistency. It is used in combination with room temperature curing Hardener Jyoti 1411. The curing of resin compound is a polyaddition reaction, which occurs at room temperature. Epoxy Gel Coat (Black) + Hardener Jyoti 1411 is a slower curing system with elastic cured Black mass. Epoxy Gel Coat is also available black & white color on request.
 
Areas of Application: Application of Epoxy Gel Coat (Black) in combination with Hardener Jyoti 1411 are finishing coat over exposed winding of electrical machines up to class B (130oC) for improved resistance to moisture, chemicals.

Properties of cured material: The system is characterized by good adhesion to most organic and inorganic materials. The hard cure shows good mechanical electrical properties & excellent chemical & humidity resistant 

Application Method: Epoxy Gel Coat (Black) with Hardener Jyoti 1411 can be applied by brush or spray. Thinner 1221 additions is necessary to adjust the viscosity for a particular application.
